Jurong Course 1st Nine

Hole #1 Par 5

DistanceBlue - 456White - 445Silver – 407Red - 367

A double dogleg to the right and then left. The narrow fairway with trees near the green offers golfers a glimpse of the first nine. To be able to attack the green, it would be wise to keep to the right. The left of the fairway beyond the rough is out of bounds.

Hole #2 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 319White - 303Silver – 281Red - 281

This is the easiest of all the par 4 holes on the course. The fairway is not very wide. An off-line tee-shot may hit the tall trees lining the fairway on either side. A strong, straight drive will carry the ball on the slightly descending fairway to about 80 metres from the green, which is well protected by four bunkers.

Hole #3 Par 3

DistanceBlue - 140White - 126Silver – 120Red - 120
An uphill tee-shot towards a green situated at the crest of the hill awaits a possible hole-in-one. A long bunker on the left guards the approach and catches any ball rolling towards the green from the left. The sloping banks at the back would mean trouble if you are off target.

Hole #4 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 368White - 352Silver – 327Red - 327

A slight dogleg right hole. A good drive will carry the ball down the slope followed by a mid-iron approach. A tee-shot landing on the right may find the bunker and your approach shot will have a very narrow opening as the right side of the green is guarded by tall trees.

Hole #5 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 341White - 327Silver – 313Red - 313

Lying parallel to the fourth hole, this hole is similar in contour.
The fairway is narrow at the beginning and is guarded by trees on either side, but opens up at the landing. On the approach shot, it is better to be on the left, if not two bunkers guard straight as the green.

Hole #6 Par 3

DistanceBlue - 188White - 168Silver – 142Red - 142

A very picturesque hole. Downhill from the tee, the green appears to be floating on the water. This long par 3 requires an accurate drive to be on in one. A slice will mean ending up in the pond. A short drive will find the ball in the water hazard in front of the green. A hook would bring the ball among the trees.

Hole #7 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 329White - 312Silver – 303Red - 275

A long par 4 and certainly the most challenging hole of the entire course. The fairway doglegs sharply to the right with OB on the far left. This hole will separate the men from the boys due to the ponds at about 150 metres from the tee. Another pond at about 200 metres makes the landing area of the tee shot challenging for the long hitter.
Golfers on the tee will have to think hard before teeing off - whether to play safe or charge for the crossing.

Hole #8 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 321White - 303Silver – 291Red – 263

A medium length par 4. The fairway should enable a golfer to play regulation golf. Although a hook or slice could land the ball among the trees, a par can still be salvaged with a good recovery shot. A bunker protects the left approach to the green. An over-clubbed approach could bring trouble as the bank of the green slopes sharply down.

Hole #9 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 395White - 376Silver – 359Red - 347

A downhill and then dogleg left fairway to the green makes this hole interesting. A good tee shot would reward the golfer who makes his second shot from a flat lie, while a short drive will find the ball on a downhill lie. The green is elevated, and the golfer would find a lot of satisfaction to be on in two.

Jurong Course 2nd Nine

Hole #10 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 356White - 335Silver – 313Red - 295

A slight dogleg left hole lined with ponds on both sides of the fairway. The ponds on the right of the fairway extending to the green are not visible from the tee box, but are generally guarded by a row of young trees. A good drive will clear the dogleg, leaving a mid-iron approach, and depending on the pin position, you may require a two-club difference.

Hole #11 Par 5

DistanceBlue - 501White - 477Silver – 444Red - 402

A fairly short par 5 with a slight dogleg right hole. It is lined with a pond on the left and OB on the right. A small circular pond is situated on the right of the fairway, trapping sliced second shots. Two good wood shots are required for a short pitch to the green.

Hole #12 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 380White - 360Silver – 349Red - 322

A long, straight and tight par 4 with a water hazard stretching all the way to the green on the right. A pond on the left traps long hitters. The green is well guarded by bunkers on the left front and right rear. A good drive and a long iron are needed to reach the green in two.

Hole #13 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 386White – 358Silver – 344Red - 321

Running parallel to the 12th Hole, the 13th is a dogleg left hole. It has a wide landing area. A shallow bunker is located on the left of the green and a pond lies just behind the green.

Hole #14 Par 3

DistanceBlue - 186White - 173Silver – 144Red - 125

A long par 3 requiring a carry of 140 metres from the blue tee to clear the pond, which stretches from the tee to the left of the green. Bunkers are lined on the right of the green to trap those wanting to play safe. Golfers require a lot of confidence and accuracy to par this hole.

Hole #15 Par 4

DistanceBlue - 354White - 338Silver – 312Red - 288

A long dogleg left hole lined with rows of trees on the right. An E-shaped bunker on the left of the fairway, and a pond at the front right of the green will trap long hitters. A good drive and a mid-iron shot are required to par this hole.

Hole #16 Par 5

DistanceBlue - 554White - 519Silver – 467Red - 461

A slight dogleg right, this is the longest hole on the course. A good drive and a fairway wood are needed to carry over the pond and a mid-iron is required to reach the green on regulation.
The bunkers to the left and right of the green require an accurate approach to the green.

Hole #17 Par 3

DistanceBlue - 161White - 139Silver – 129Red - 108

An easy approach to the green, which is guarded by bunkers on either side.

Hole #18 Par 5

DistanceBlue - 477White - 456Silver – 438Red - 415

A very picturesque hole, which slopes to the left, forming a crescent all the way to the green. The fairway is wide but has OB stakes on both sides. Bunkers are placed away from the green, which is located at the foot of a steep slope. A good finishing hole which provides an excellent view of the clubhouse.
